My wife and I travel to Summit County twice a year, specifically for the skiing. We knew about A-Basin and thought that it was for the more advanced skier. I bought a "learn-to-ski" package ($200) from Arapahoe-Basin (A-Basin) which provides 4 2-hour lessons plus a season-pass for the ski-area. Unfortunately I did this before actually visiting A-basin, which might be a fine area for expert skiers but is almost unusable for beginners.
