There is a very large parking lot (which overlooks the town) then it is a short walk to the viewing area. This place is set up great with metal viewing areas that extend out over the canyon. You can sit and watch ice climbers climbing up the frozen ice falls. more

This is a unique experience for Ice-Climbing. Get up, walk out of your hotel room and within 15 minutes you can be climbing on ice. Most, if not all of the routes can be top-roped, making even a difficult climb attemptable by a beginneer (like me). I did not hire a guide, by brother and his climbing partner are expert... more
