My visit to the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum is perhaps the most memorable stop on my four week stay in Colorado in November 2009. The museum displays full-size/complete aircraft inside of its hangar and outside on property. A majority are near complete and it is apparent that the staff is committed in presenting aircraft close to their original operational condition.... more

Pueblo was a B-24 training base during WWII & has a pretty good aviation museum adjacent to a high-speed railroad test track. Quite a few US Navy aircraft, including an A7 Vigilante, F-11 Tiger, and P2V Neptune. One of my favorites was a Lockheed Hudson with Army Air Corps markings that don't quite cover RAF markings more
