Definitely balls-out kind of skiing. Would not recommend if you doubt your ability at all, especially without a fresh snow fall. Since they don't groom or cut trails, the snow is "as is" which might be sun-crusted avalanche debris or waist deep powder. You never know! The mountain is truly awesome and a totally different skiing experience than you have... more

YOW... This is some unusually balls-out, steep and deep advanced skiing AND bust your butt HIKING carring your gear at a breath-taking 12,000-13,000 ft. Can testosterone take the place of oxygen? Wait until you see the funky "lodge", outhouses and Into-The-Wild rental gear bus. You're not in Deer Valley anymore, Dorothy! Ask for Fabio as your guide and get in... more
