My Husband and I along with another couple just came from Steamboat Ski Resort. The trip was fantastic. We stayed at the Rabbit Ears Motel in town. The place was nice, nothing fancy. They served breakfast at 6 am so you could get right to the mountain. The woman who works at the front desk at night is very helpful... more

If you like steep icy trails or 10 foot wide catwalks, then Steamboat is for you. Steamboat is not a good place for snowboarding with all the narrow trails. Leave your camera behind, this mountain is ugly compared to the beauty of the summit county resorts. more
