The Strawberry Park Hot Springs was the second best thing that I did on my recent trip to Steamboat. While at the hot springs you feel like you are completely seperated from from your surroundings. The atmosphere really is incredible. On the day that we were at the springs there were a couple of downpours of rain which added to... more

My sister and I stayed in the Caboose for one night, it was wonderful. The caboose is ridiculously charming. The ride into SHS is long so I recommend shopping in town and staying put once you check in. They don't take credit cards and their website does not do the place justice. The hot springs are amazing, very natural, so... more

We took our three boys after a day of skiing, in our rental minivan and made the trip, despite warnings that you need a 4 WD, the road was just a litle muddy and bumpy. We loved the hot springs and our boys wer thrilled with it. Will definitley go back anytime we are in Steamboat Springs more

What a cool place this is! Beautiful setting and relaxing hot springs... you cannot beat it for only $10! My husband and I came here, got a half table/half Watsu massage then soaked in the hot springs for an hour or so... simply divine! We drove ourselves in an AWD rental, it was early April and just wet/mushy road, no... more

We went back for a second time at the end of February. Stayed 5 nights in a small rustic cabin. I was as good as the first time we went there. It did not snow much while we were there but the hot springs were steaming. We would go skiing and snowboarding all day and then come back and soak... more

We visited the springs in January after a full day on the slopes. We set out to watch the sunset from the springs, but ended up making it there after dark. Even after dark, we found the springs to be incredible. Under a half moon, we could see well enough to get around safely without a flashlight, and the stars... more

A "must do" in Steamboat! This was my first hot springs experience and I absolutely loved it! We booked a tour through Sweet Pea tours and were very pleased. Our guide was incredibly nice and very informative about the area. The area of the springs was gorgeous and sitting in a relaxing hot spring while snow falls around you just... more

The drive is a bit tough in the winter, definatly need 4 wheel drive. Once you are there it is time to relax! In the winter, change in the beautiful bathrooms at the top of the hill and bring a robe for the walk down to the pools. Or if you you want to brave the elements and are not... more

I'm revewing the springs and not the lodging. There are three pools of varying temperature in a natural type environment (NOT indoors). The hottest is about 104, then 95, then 75-80ish. Although fairly crowded in the afternoon on Saturday when we visited, it was still a good way to relax after a hike. After dark it is clothing optional so... more

I grew up in Steamboat and have been to the Strawberry Park hot springs countless times. I am writing this review to counter the negative comments of others. If you want to see the natural beauty, come during the day. Then you will see that the hot springs aren't ruined by electric lamps and throughly modern facilities. That's part of... more
