Telluride is in a valley surrounded by lots of mountains that are over 14,000...spectacular views. I love the gondola ride too..

This mountain has everything for the skier/boarder alike. Steep , knarly chutes off Gold Hill, big, long bumps down the Plunge lift, DDiamond tree runs eg West Drain, cruisy blues eg Look Out & SeeForever,. Great eateries eg Gurronos',(good, live music) Crazy Elk (Pizzas), Guiseppie's ( magic, hot, chilli soup!), & hidden gold mines (on the ski hill!)

This is a beautiful mountain. I especially like the fact that it has runs called double greens way up high for the novice skier. I was able to see a lot of the mountain from up high and still be safe.

Breathtaking views from every vista. High altitude so give yourself a day to acclimate. Lots of expert skiing, this is not for beginners. Revelation Bowl was awesome. Never waited on a single lift line. Overall a casual vibe. Average mountain food. Lifts opened at 10 but many stayed open until 4 or 5. Tickets are expensive, $100 per day for... More

All of the runs had incredible views & since the Galloping Goose is a green run that starts at the top of the mountain, our family could ski together without anyone feeling left out or stuck on the "kiddie slopes" at the bottom of the mountain. We heard it was "crowded" for Spring Break - but it did not seem... More

We had 17 family members split between two condos in Mountain Village. Love the free shuttle that Bear Creek Lodge provides to the City Market and the Gondola to ski. Shelly at the lift ticket desk at the Telluride ski Mountain was an excellent problem solver! I love it when people are there to help when a problem arises. Weather... More

There are plenty of steeps here. And plenty of good skiers. This is one of the highest resorts in Nth America, so beware of altitude.
