Being a local to the area I frequent Camp Hale quite often. Camp Hale is nestled in the middle of the White River National Forest and is full of history and beautiful views. My family spent a very pleasant afternoon at Camp Hale in early September. The aspens were just beginning to turn gold, and the oakbrush sprinkled orange and gold on the mountainsides.
