We've done the cattle roundup at 4-Eagle / Triple G Outfitters several times. Always a blast - unless you have a particularly uncooperative horse. Although it's not for very beginner horseback riders, you do not need to be an expert. The ride starts with some time in the ring to get accustomed to your horse (and to let the wrangler...

We went to Vail with a group of friends and our children. There were 12 of us and the one thing everyone wanted to do was a sleigh ride dinner. We made our reservations a month in advance. They told us that we had to cancel 48 hours prior or we would be charged the full amount for all of...

Viewed coming here with a little apprehension since there was so little snow in Colorado. Shouldn't have been so worried since my kids had fun even if the sleigh ride became a wagon ride. The chili was excellent. Be sure to get it right away because it runs out. The steak was decent but the salad was great. Overall a...

We booked our dog sledding with Winterhawk Dogsled Adventures through 4-Eagle Ranch. What an awesome experience! We were picked up at our condo and driven up to meet the dogs. They made a point of choosing a different location than the norm so we had better snow conditions. The guides were friendly, very informative and very knowledgeable on all aspects...

the ride was nice and comfortable. not the most adventurous ride, but the horses were nice and sweet. it's a fun side activity between skiing in the area. the 1.5 hours was just long enough to make a fun activity.
My three teenagers went on the two hour trail ride. First of all they delayed the start of the ride 30 minutes waiting for another family to show up. This was irritating as we had a schedule to meet after the ride and we showed up on time. You just ride out in the open with no trees or much...

My wife and I visited 4 eagle last summer and had a great time. We first went to the Wednesday night Barbecue....great food and music around the log fire. We met "reject" the Buffalo, interesting story. The next day we took part in the ZIp line and jeep tour. Both were fun and the personnel were helpful and friendly.
We...

We did the 1.5 hour advanced ride. Our guide was very good and really made sure we got to do the level of riding we wanted including trotting and galloping. The views are wonderful. We went in late May so it was too early for some of the longer rides which go up higher or for the cattle herding, which...

We went to the 4 Eagle Ranch in late November 2010 for the Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride Dinner. The food was great, but at $75 per adult, it was grossly overpriced. The kids enjoyed the horse sleigh ride, but it was through a pitch black field with nothing to see except for the stars (which I can see from my hotel...
