The displays and details were very well done We enjoyed the presentation and the work shop. We had no idea that they sent their dinosaurs all over the world!

Don't waste your time. The place is pretty dumb. Not much to it either.

After using a coupon from the Colorado Springs Magazine - my husband, myself, and our 3 children under 6 years old still cost me $23. We decided to let our kids just explore the museum and not take a tour, because they will not listen to a tour guide very well after 20 minutes. But a tour guide found us... More

This is probably great fun for little kids. I enjoyed the gift shop but its a one time trip and I don't intend to go again. For me overall it was boring.

this one was fun for the kids. The tour guide was awesome she kept the younger kids entertained while she gave them more information then they would ever remember at school. I still hear the 6 year old spout that information off. Nor did she mind when the older children would stray. The collection is extensive for such a small... More

They have the most amazing dinosaur fossils, skeltons and guided tours. You can actually observe the process of preserving the excavated remains dug up from many parts of the country to be processed through plate glass windows that let observers view into the workshop area. Great hands on experiences for the kids too.

Why my 2 and 5 year old loved seeing the dinosaurs and took advantage of all the tactile exploring, I LOVED that they used real dinosaur bones in many of their skeletons (instead of the typical plaster you see everywhere else). I was impressed that most of there skeletons where dug up right here in Colorado.

Some of the displays were cool, but they are very limited. You could walk around the center in about 5 minutes. Nothing very fun for young children. We wouldn't go again, and wouldn't recommend it!
