I'm not interested in tanks - but my spouse is. He can recognize different tanks from fuzzy 5-second movie scenes, in a single glance. Never mind that he's legally blind without glasses and can't drive at night, but he instantly knows when Hollywood is using an incorrect Swedish tank instead of the right French tank. Having him along made this... More

Very impressive collection of tanks. According to my husband, they had some that even the ordnance museum at Aberdeen doesn't have. You can see the care and attention to detail that went into putting together the displays. NY's 10th Mountain Division display was very good. Sometimes WWI doesn't get the attention it deserves, and we were glad to see a... More

If you are into military history, especially armored warfare, this museum has a super collection of artifacts and diorama's from WWI to the present. Even a great 9-11 exhibit that opened in September for the 10th anniversary. It is only about 1/2 mile off exit 3 of I-84. Visit their website: www.usmilitarymuseum.org.

my Grandson loves all things military. the tanks, trucks, jeeps and displays are done well and well maintained. He enjoyed climbing on all the displays outdoors. Inside displays were clean and interesting. Worth a visit.

We were pleasantly surprised with this little museum in Danbury. We have driven by many times while on vacation and finally stopped in. My children found it interesting.

If you ever wanted to check out tanks up close and personal, this is the place for you. The museum consists of both an indoor and outdoor section. The indoor section has a lot of WWII related memorabilia including at least one swastika. There are many hand weapons on display that I have never seen before in person. The outdoor... More

Place is small for a museum. But don't let that stop you from going there. I was in the area and decided to see for myself. From the outside it looks like a used car lot for military equipment. But once you go inside, you will see that alot of work went into this place. There are alot of artifacts... More
