I've been going to the Bruce Museum since I was a little girl. It has changed tremendously since then, all for the better. Excellent art exhibits, fun science exhibits and informative local natural history exhibits make this a great place for families to visit.

The Bruce Museum is a gem! It has an interesting permanent collection, but what sets it apart are the great special exhibits that are routinely present. Easy to find off I-95, you will be rewarded whenever you visit!

Always love to pop in the Bruce, because there's something new every time. Easy to get to, lots of free parking, and a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Pretty grounds, as well.

The Bruce Museum has some great temporary exhibits but could use some focus. Is it an art museum, a science / nature center, or a local Greenwich history museum? It would be best served as a small art museum. The permanent collection was smallish but spanned nearly 100 years of art history. It might have been crowded out by the... More

We had an hour to kill and decided to stop in. I'm glad we did. There was so much for younger children to see and do. Each of the exhibits was well done, and interesting. While we didn't see anything very unique the displays of minerals and animals captured our interest. The older kids weren't as excited but it was... More

The Bruce is a quiet little place that punches above its weight class. Just returned from an incredible show on Danish Masters. I think these were the most beautiful paintings I've ever seen. All from the Danish golden age of painting in the late 19th century. Don't miss this.

In the 46+ years I've lived in Greenwich, the Bruce Museum has evolved from a sort of "town attic" to a first-class small art museum. Suffice it to say that it has, over the past few years attracted exhibitions of such quality that Yale University Press has published hefty 'coffee-table-sized' books about them. One was of Parisian portraits in the... More
