The site itself is pretty boring. Just a small cider mill and a shop selling cider, hard cider, and other stuff you can find throughout New England. The cider is great, (and hot cider was excellent on the chilly day we were there) but not really worth seeking out as something to do. more

Clyde's is a bit tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the area, but gives you a beautiful scenic drive and delicious cider. They make fresh donuts that are worth the drive. This is a great old-fashioned cider mill near Mystic. They even are licensed to sell "hard cider" which is more like a brandy (they sell it out of the basement of the barn - with samples!) We stopped by here just by accident. I found the brochure in our hotel lobby. It was such a great place, and we enjoyed watching the workings of the cider mill. Found this little place after making a wrong turn, but what a find it was! Great apple cider and the apple cider donuts are just amazing. So good I had to go back again and get more donuts. more
