Nov was the month, 3 years back, when she said YES. so to just celebrate that I planned a surprise trip to Mohegun Sun, CT. my fiance does not like Casino much and we generally avoide playing because we are not so lucky. but I tell you we both like this place very much compared to any of AtlanticCity. Though... more

My husband and I love casinos. Everything about them is fun. An overnite stay is like a mini vacation....we use to go to ms lots, but not anymore. any time we call for prices, they are so high, we could fly out to vegas for not much more....the rooms just ain't worth the $$. we live to far to go... more

the old saying goes....once you've lost your virtue ya can't get it back....we totally love MS...but the room rates are never consistant and most usually in the outer atmosphere....once in awhile we get offers via email for $150...$100...$80... and as low as $60...each time we get these offers we head down with a bag full of money and seldom come... more

On my recent trip to the Wolf's Den, I was treated rudely by the bartender. After trying to get his attention on a number of occassions for a refill, to no avail, I whistled...he turned to me, then returned his attention back to the show....he later gave me a beer when he saw fit. At Pepe's Pizza, we were all... more

This was my first visit to the Mohegan Sun casino. I'm not an avid gambler, but wanted a fun, nearby destination for our 25th anniversary celebration. It was Labor Day weekend, so the casino was very crowded. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the overall layout, although with so many separate areas (and so many people), getting around can... more

I have never experienced the horrible, insulting level of drink service I enountered at Mohegan Sun. The low lights: COCKTAIL SERVICE - Only two drinks per hour! This is apparently due to a drunk driving accident in 2008. Total BS! If I am staying on the property...I ain't driving. How about wristbands?? - They only serve beer in 8 oz... more

This is a top notch Casino destination that trumps Vegas hotels when it comes to gaming. When arriving use the valet, tip $5 and get vip on your receipt, when leaving this gets you your car faster than those cheap non tippers. Now once here make sure you get a players card. This is where you will get your rewards.... more

-The beverage service is not on a timed basis by no means. We work as partners with a handheld computer to send the order to the service bar which from there our partner makes the berverage of choice. When the tray is full the partner delivers the drinks to the seat number in which the patron is sitting. If you... more

Mohegan Sun is a nice casino but service is really bad. They have a new rule that one can only get one drink every half an hour when gambling. So when you receive a drink, the waitress checks her watch and will only serve you after 30 minutes. It's ridiculous. It's worst than when my grandmother got charged $2.50 at... more

First off...this is not a family destination. I never understood why people would take their kids to a casino. If you *are* going to do it, Foxwoods probably has more kid-friendly attractions than does Mohegan Sun. That said, the Sun is among the best gambling destinations in the country. It rivals Foxwoods in size and I think it's laid out... more
