Wonderful place. $4 Instate and $8 out-of-state fees. There is so much to see and do here! At the south entrance (just north of Rehoboth) we were told to keep our dogs off the trails and instead take them to the beach, which we did and had a wonderful time playing in the surf. When we went to the Northern... More

This hidden gem of a park lies along the Delaware Bay and Atlantic ocean, featuring clean beaches, surf fishing, bike paths, playgrounds, bath house and a preserved Fort Miles. The view from the WWII watchtower is spectacular! Birders will enjoy the abundant protected waterfowl areas. Camp, fish, sunbathe, hike, or enjoy the pier. The Cape May Ferry is just down... More

A beautiful park with great beaches. we were here in April, too cold for a swim but perfect for bike riding. Stop at the bike barn at the nature center and borrow a bike. Had a good ride, picnicked on the beach and saw the white deer. A perfect day.

We had a wonderful time skating the bike path, saw a small lizzard, small toad, birds and butterflies galore, and even a deer. On the shore line, we saw dolphins playing, gulls, a fisherman caught a sting ray, we walked in the edges of the waves with no shells or stones to hurt our feet.

This park had really nice trails that could have used better signage at the beginning points but overall was very nice. And the beach was beautiful.

Usually pretty clean, lots of walking paths, trees and pines throughout, restroom facilities, the little cafe is substandard, but good for drinks if needed. Free rental of bikes and a nature center. Park rangers very friend.y
