We were on our way for a day trip to Rehoboth Beach and decided to check out the vineyard. We walked into the "wine shop" and the gentlemen behind the counter shouted, "Have you been here before?" This is a small vineyard but just lovely. As stated in the other reviews there is a self guided tour which occasionally exhibits local art. At the end of the tour there is the wine shop. I hidden treasure of the Lewes area. Sipping on some Delaware wine is definitely one of the best ways to spend a sunny afternoon. more
We visited Nassau Valley Vineyards on a beautiful Saturday in October. There is a self guided tour which had a lot of very interesting historic and agricultural information on wine. At the end of the tour is the Vineyard's wine tasting room (If you prefer, you can skip the tour and go directly to the wine tasting like 2 members... more
Be warned that you may be turned away if there is a bus tour that comes in when you are there. You will be told that the tour is closed. Don't waste your time. more
I am so glad that there is a winery in Southern Delaware. It is great to retreat to a quiet place in the middle of summer and enjoy wine all day, learn about wine in their museum and check out great artwork in the main gallery. Great place to be. more
