Calm, peaceful. Nice walk on a walking trail. Did not see much wildlife at that point. It is pretty and will go back when it is green.

Great walking trails and water views. We went in January so we didn't see much wildlife. Definitely will go back in April or May.

A February photo stop on a mild day was a peaceful experience. The sound of many thousands of geese calling was heard in the background. More continued to fly over heading to the gathering area a few miles across the water. The visitor center staff were very helpful and nice, providing a map and suggestions for good photo opportunities.

Pretty area-- great views of the wetlands and birds. Nice walks of varying lengths looking out onto the wetlands and lakes and some incredible photo opportunities. Very calm and peaceful. Chance to canoe, though we weren't able to. Staff at visitors center was very friendly and knowledgeable. Worth checking out, and it's free
