“Great hiking and mountain biking”

Excellent trails for mountain biking and hiking. Kudos to the Delaware Trail Spinners mountain bike club for their tireless maintenance of the trails. A map showing the trails and various parking locations can be found on their website, http://www.trailspinners.org.

White Clay creek has numerous hiking trails through beautiful state park land. We thought it was lots of fun!

We really enjoyed this place. It was close to many things and you can't beat the nature here. So nice to get time to relax and this is a wonder place to do so.

“Great walking trails at varying levels if difficulty”

Since I moved to Newark, DE, I have been trying to find nature refuges and parks with trails that are within a short drive. White Clay Creek is the best I've found so far. The park is located in both Delaware and Pennsylvania, with many entrances that take you to walking trails along the creek. The entrance in New Castle... More

Love going to this park and hiking. Love to hike in general but while clay creek park has some of the prettiest scenery in new castle county.

This encompasses a huge network of trails linked by road-crossings. Go early and get lost for awhile. Really fun flowy roller-coaster trails and a skills trail.

A great place to go for a stroll and soak in some local history. It is a quick easy drive from downtown Newark and well worth checking out.
