Sadly, I would not recommend to anyone that they visit the Kennedy Space Center. After paying $40 per person we were ushered over to a tour bus that slowly took us to an observation deck. From the observation deck you could sort of make out the launch pad in the distance. With my point-and-shoot camera zoomed all the way I... more

What a wonderful place to take your children. We spent the first day at Kennedy Space Center which was a perfect place to introduce our 8 year old to the history of our nation's space program. I would recommend doing the train tour early in the day. We spent the second day at the Astronaut Hall of Fame. I would... more

The space center is an awesome experience for both adults and kids. No matter how many times you've seen it on TV, the on-site visit really gets one right in the midst of the gigantic size and scope of all that happens there. Goping to Florida isn't complete without a Space Center day. more

Wonderful place to go for science geeks and wannabe science geeks....It's amazing to see these things up close and to get to know more about something that's part of our history and future. The tour takes you quite close to the launch sites and you get to see neat artifacts. The rocket garden was very cool, and the launch experience... more

I was sceptical about the going to Kennedy Space Centre, having thought that space travel a bit of a waste of money. After having visited I have totally changed my mind and found that the space programnes have helped and are helping so many causes. I wish them much success for the future. This is a very good 1 or... more

My family (2 adults, 2 children ages 7 and 11) just came back from seeing the STS-128 launch at KSC's causeway (nearest public viewing site). Below are 10 tips if you want to view a launch: 1. the online ticket system works well, but as you'll see elsewhere on TripAdvisor, type quickly. 2. add the lunch or dinner with an... more

We went to see around the Space Center and thought why not include a Shuttle Launch (STS-128).There was great atmosphere about the place waiting for the launch. It was very busy and the attractions were all open. There is lot to see . The IMAX show is brilliant makes you think about life the universe and everything. The tour was... more

If you're into the space program, you must visit Kennedy Space Center! Its THE playground for space geeks. Everything here was top notch, really well done. Most exhibits struck a perfect balance between adults and kids, which is hard to do. Loved the rocket garden. The NASA Up Close tour is highly recommended, especially if the shuttle is on the... more

This was a great place for adults and teenagers, especially if you want to get away from the theme parks. We went on the "up close tour", it was well worth the extra charge. We were taken on a narrated tour and got up to 1 1/2 miles from the space shuttle that was on the pad to be launched... more
