The attendant was positive, very helpful-leading us to good food, lodging and events. Well worth your stop there FIRST. We had looked around and thought we knew where to go, but learned more here.

They have an arts festival in the fall that is quite nice. Complete with seafood. Cedar Key in general is a quiet place with a couple of shops and restaurants on the water

We were in Cedar Key for the Thanksgiving holiday and was blessed enough to join the locals for a wonderful hometown Christmas tree lighting. It was definitely a memorable one. We can not wait to go back and visit this quaint town..
