This is old Florida at its finest. There are many old cracker homes which were moved to this county park which shows how the poor folks lived a hundred years ago. These old homes are fully furnished one with a chicken coop with chickens. The replica of the old fort is outstanding. Don't miss this great park with free admission. more
A very Florida "Cracker" lifestyle museum. During the first week in December there is a very large arts and crafts gathering on the Park grounds, a civil war encampment , and settlers walking around in period dress.
