This beach area has a wonderful parking area just beside the beach. We were there in April 09. Easter holiday. Good weather so it was a bit too crowded for my taste. The beach itself is beautiful with white powdery sand & shallow waters, great for children. Lots of young people around having fun & playing beach volleyball. more

We went to Clearwater Beach for a long weekend. It was okay, but I don't think I'll make an effort to go back. The beach was VERY crowded, no room to move. We went on Easter Sunday; we got to Pier 60 area early, around 10 and found no parking, but found more easily just past the pier - fed the meter and then went to the Marina - went on the Sea Screamer and saw ALOT of dolphins - they get the dolphins to play in the wake of the boat... more
