Visited Clearwater over the Labor Day weekend. This is a great family friendly beach. There are changing facilities, restrooms, and lots of little restaurants right there. Only complaint is the parking. If you aren't there early, you're going to hike a long way with your stuff! more

This was the first place we visited during our trip to the USA. Very lovely beach with white sand. The sea was like getting into a warm bath. It was not too touristy here and very relaxing. Lovely sunsets too! more

I've been all over the USA, to all kinds of open beaches in easy to get to spots, but this is by far the prettiest yet. The sands are soft and white, not too hot on the feet. Down in the surf you can find all kinds of shells. The water is amazing and green and clear, it's also a... more

Clearwater was nice. The sand was cool and didn’t burn our feet. We walked along the beach and did a bit of shelling and we found 3 live Florida Fighting Conch. We then spent the dollar and went to the edge of the pier for sunset. It was cool because there were dolphins in the distance and we saw a... more

This beach area has a wonderful parking area just beside the beach. We were there in April 09. Easter holiday. Good weather so it was a bit too crowded for my taste. The beach itself is beautiful with white powdery sand & shallow waters, great for children. Lots of young people around having fun & playing beach volleyball. more

This was our 2nd visit in 2 years to Clearwater Beach and let me say, Clearwater Beach Rocks and it just keeps getting better. I am not even a beach person and I love this place. I love the white sand, the people, the sites, the night life, the streets, Pier 60...Man, It is awesome. Clearwater is good for families,... more

I've been to Clearwater Beach many times as my dad lives just a short 15 minute drive away. The sand can be a little shelly, and the beach can sometimes have seaweed, but the amazing sunset is totally worth it. If you would like to make the best of the trip, however, you need to know a few things to make... more

My husband, 2 children (3yrs, 8yrs), and I were staying just down the street at the Quality Hotel on the Beach and I wanted the children to experience the larger waves and soft sand (our private beach was in a channel and the sand had quite a few shells). We figured it wouldn't be too crowded on a Tuesday...boy were... more

We went to Clearwater Beach for a long weekend. It was okay, but I don't think I'll make an effort to go back. The beach was VERY crowded, no room to move. This is not a good place for anyone interested in night life. There were several good restaurants (Post Corner Pizza & Restaurant a stand-out), but almost everything closed... more

We went on Easter Sunday; we got to Pier 60 area early, around 10 and found no parking, but found more easily just past the pier - fed the meter and then went to the Marina - went on the Sea Screamer and saw ALOT of dolphins - they get the dolphins to play in the wake of the boat... more
