Have travelled to the states 29 times over a perio0d of time. My husband and myself were looking forward to staying at the Belleview as the pictures in the brochure were lovely. What a disapointment. There are no tiles on the roof. The swimming pool is filthy, with tiles missing. not just 1 or 2, but strips of 20 to... more

After passing the guard shack you feel like you're almost on a movie set. The long driveway is worth the wait. Wanting a weekend getaway we found the Biltmore while searching the internet. My boyfriend and I wanted something charming, quiet, out of the way but yet close enough to everything. Well we got it. I read the reviews and... more

This place if VERY far from any sort of club. We stayed here for a wedding which made everything very convenient, but overall the experience was disappointing. Belleview Biltmore is very old and historic, which is fine if you are into that type of thing. The rooms are big, however they aren't the cleanest and the furnishings are very 'warn'... more

I went there with my family over the spring break and it was absoultely gorgeous. Everything was completely classic, like out of an old time movie that Marilyn Monroe or Audrey Hepburn would stay at. The ballrooms were overwhelming and the ice cream parlour was convienent for late night cravings! The hot tub was great for meeting new people during... more

I just recently returned from spending the Thanksgiving Holiday at the Belleview Biltmore. I was joined by a group of friends from Europe. We found the hotel to be special treasure. It is full of charm from an era gone by. If you need the sterile amenities of "new" property, then this is not the place for you. But if... more

My mom and I went on a weekend getaway at the Biltmore over the summer. She'd been before but It was my first time and I found it to be absolutely charming. The hotel is over 100 years old and is in need of a lot of repair, especially after last year's hurricanes nearly ripped the roof off. But it's... more

the first room smelled horrible, the bed was tiny, the bathroom was old, the windows were so dirty you could barely see out of them. when we asked to be switched the next room still smelled horrible and there was mold on the ceiling. when we weren't happy with the second room we asked for our money back, we were... more

The hotel and facility is grand, the grounds are gorgeous. The room, however, left much to be desired. Had to be moved twice, the first room smelled of mildew, the second was unclean (tub, floors, etc.). The room we settled on had a huge bathroom, but a pedestal sink with no counter space. Had to set up ironing board to... more

March 2004 - We stayed 3 nights at the Biltmore before heading to the beach for another 3 nights. The Biltmore is a lovely old hotel with all the amenities. It has Tiffany glass windows throughout the first floor corridor and some of the banquet rooms have Tiffany glass panes (back lit) in the ceilings. There is much history here and... more
