Before you get to the pier there is a shop selling food, drinks and misc beach items like floats, towels tee shirts, etc. Our boys like the large pretzels they had. In the same area is a free playground for kids. Past there is a covered area for live music and a sandy area where there are huge inflatable slides... more

The Pier was filled with venders and entertainers...It was fun to watch and shop. The last 10 feet of the pier are fisherman...so you really don't need to pay to go on to that part...you can see the sunset wonderfully from where you are. Most of the big piers on the gulf charge you to walk on them...they call it... more

Pier 60 costs .50 to actually walk out onto, but the view is pretty nice, especially during sunset. There are plenty of things to do to keep you busy, including shopping and listening to music. The sunsets are beautiful, however the clouds obscured the actual sun setting into the gulf. I was disappointed that they charged a nominal fee to get to the end of the pier. It costs $.50 per person. I'm sure with the thousands visiting Clearwater Beach annually the amount spent by tourists pays for upkeep on the pier many times over.... more
