Well worth the visit, this attraction was so beautiful and a great photo opportunity in daytime and at sunset. At night there are vendors and buskers everywhere. The little shop at the gate was neat as well with a few good finds there. You pay to walk the second part of the pier, but the first is free.

Pier 60 has loads of entertainment, including a vast away of market stalls and street entertainers, there are even free movies in the park at the weekends where families can sit on the grass and watch the likes of Iron Man - nice and relaxing to walk off the dinner to make room for the odd cocktail!

Pier 60 is always open to walk and fish on. But ope to venders starting around 6pm until 9-10pm. The venders are local artists with thier goods for sale, some magic acts, singers and dancers.

Love walking along the pier, right through the turnstile (50c entry to get to end) and watching the fisherman haul in some big fish. Great views of the seas, sunset and the beach.

We often walk along the Pier at sunset. I agree that there are many vendors selling things that I personally would not buy, but it is FREE to look! There were street performers and crowds milling about. Looking over the edge of the pier, you often see large fish swimming around the oblivious tourists. I enjoy the pier.

The vendors on the pier are pretty awful, it's mainly a bunch of crap for sale. My friend got a henna tattoo that was so light you couldn't see it, although she diligently followed the artists care instructions. Nice place to gather for a magnificent sunset, but that is the only real reason to visit the pier.
