A great place for out of town guests. When you enter, you are actually in a net covered group of buildings with all the different butterflys and humming birds flying around you as you enjoy the tropical surroundings.

this is a nice place to visit, however it is a little pricey. visitng the south florida zoo is a cheaper - and their animals eat more than the butterflies. But if you have a coupon which you can get on their website it's not too bad. it's very informative and quite beautiful to walk among the butterflies. there is... More

OK. I'll admit it. I really didn't want to go here. My wife heard about this place and wanted to go. I reluctantly agreed. Once we got there I really enjoyed it. Seeing so many butterfly's flying around was truly amazing. Very peaceful relaxing activity while in Florida. Actual visit was in April 2011, but wanted to review

I brought my son, my nephew and my Mother here a few years back....ok, several years back, and the memory is still wonderful. It was delightful, enchanting, and lovely in every way. What a treat for all of us. The butterflies flit around you and land on you and it is fun! I will go back, with or without children... More

I saw humming birds motionless in flight - they look almost like darning needles. And i fed the bold little Lorikeets for only $1. I have an annual pass so i go as often as the mood strikes and time allows.

We visited this wonderful place on May 1st then again on May 4th. It was raining steadily on May 1st and we originally believed that this was a fully enclosed conservatory (similar to other ones that we had visited) but when we arrived and were informed that it was all open roof (expect the insect pavilion) I just couldn't swallow... Go in the morning right after they open and you can stroll along and see the all the butterflies. We went in the morning and wasn't that crowded yet. Our 6 month enjoy looking at the butterflies. There also an option to feed some lorikeets birds for a dollar and that was a lot of fun. This place also has... More
