2 things: Ortanique on the Mile - one of the absolute best restaurants in the City, and of course, the shopping - Dominique's - lovely boutique with wonderful cocktail attire.

This section of town is very "alive"! Plenty of places to eat, from Starbuck's and Einstein's Bagels to pubs and nightclubs. Felt very safe walking around after dark.

this is my neighboorhood, lovely area, family friendly, awesome to take a stroll in the afternoon with the fam.

Nice to shop, lounge or simply chill. We can use more of a night life though. ;)

This retail strip is suffering from the economic downturn. There are a lot of shops for wedding dresses and formal wear as well as a number of restaurants. Goint to miracle mile and the surounding Coral Gables location is a good way to sepnd an evening. Good restaurants, nice atmosphere. One of the best areas in Miamai. Venture to the restaurants around the area, you will be happy. La Dorada is my favorite. Just get your wallet prepare for it.

Starbucks, ColdStone Ice Cream, Califronia Pizza, or Barnes & Noble, The Mile has something for everyone. Lots of places to eat. Also walk off the Mile on both south and noth. You have shops, restaurants, and a theater on both sides of this historic street with the original old buildings made of decorative coral rock. It's a pleasant atmosphere and a significant piece of old Miami area. The Biltmore house, Venetian pool and Calle Ocho, (aka) Little Havana are in the vicinity and can be included in your tour.
