Really enjoyed this well-kept facility & the several stations to listen to audio recordings were very educational.

This is a very interesting place. Tells alot about the area. I enjoyed myself here. Not a little kid place. But for older children 13 and up interested in history and prehistory of the area.

Learn about the original people living in the area...find out that mineral found in Michigan where traded and were found in early burial areas. A must to learn about early Florida

If you're looking for things to do, this is close to the manatee sites. Not a lot here, but some good historical information signs and markers

This area is full of native american history. Great interpretive park with a great walk.

So peaceful and beautiful and so full of history. And take advantage of the very resonable boat ride on the Crystal River with an informed history lesson.

The archaeological park site is open daily 8:00 a.m. until sundown. However, the small museum has limited hours and is NOT open daily so I advise that you call up the museum before taking a trip all the way there. I liked the place, it was a good site to learn about Indian culture of the Area and we got our stamps in the Florida Passport for Yulee Sugar Mill and Crystal River! If you are in the area doing a Manatee tour, stop by the Crystal River and get a feel for how the area was before modern life.
