the first time i rode it, i was so scared, i was scared of wooden roller coasters and it was HUGE! (to me anyway) i rode it once, and thought, the fright i got, was the fun part, and i couldnt stop riding it, i loved it! i came a 2nd time, it wasnt as fun, cause i knew all... more

This is one of two roller coasters designed by The Coaster Works in 2000. The Dania Beach Hurricane has a dogleg double out and back layout. The wood track is 3,200 feet long, rises up a 10-story lift and the Hurricane begins with a 95-foot first drop.
