If I hadn't gotten in for free on Mother's Day, I would've demanded my money back! One netted in area of cool butterflies. An exhibit of dried up bugs and butterflies. An area with a few birds. Mostly a waste of money and a disappointment.

Flamingo Road Nursery's free Butterfly Pavilion is open and Florida native butterflies are appearing each day. Staff members are on hand to explain the life cycle, describe the species and offer guidance in selecting plants that attract butterflies. Educational butterfly facts are posted throughout the pavilion. Families are welcome to stop by frequently to seen the new arrivals. Open 7 days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

My family visited Flamingo Road Nursery and Farmers Market Easter Sunday and attended demonstrations on creating your own butterfly garden and one on planting a container garden. It was very educational. Everyone was helpful and answered our questions. We also had lunch at the deli and ended up buying several plants and fresh fruit smoothies, too.
