Best walking beach, best waves for boogie-boarding, best people watching, best sand, and even dolphins (keep your eyes open)!

when the tide is up, there is little beach to lay on

My husband and I really enjoyed Daytona Beach. Of course, who could not enjoy the drive down on the sand!

The beach was very nice. Usually we go to the gulf side. Not sure I would go back, but it is very clean.

Daytona is a beautiful beach. It is very relaxing to just sit under an umbrella and soak in the atmosphere. An added benefit is the fact you can drive on the beach. This allows you to easily transport whatever you need to the water without breaking a sweat.

It's flat, smooth, and gorgeous with lots of activities and people watching. There are chair and umbrella rentals as well as food and ranker vendors. But there is also plenty of room to throw down a towel and sit by yourself, if that's what you want.
