We walked down the beach about 150 yards and were at least 50 feet from all other visitors. The water was warm and wave-free. I don't think the water even reached 3 feet deep before we reached the buoys that keep the boats from the beach. This was a waste of time and money. It was cramped like I have never seen before, the beach is small, and it cost 85 dollars in total for 6 of us to go. Also, beware of rattlesnakes and sting rays...signs are posted to warn of this. more

We stayed in Indian Rocks Beach for a 3rd year. After hearing the reviews, and with Dr. Beach's #1 rating of US Beaches, we were anxious to check out the beach.
