We decided to have a bit of a cultural come shopng day out from our base in Indian Shroes,FL. So we searched and found a plantation and thought that would be a good place to go to learn about the real Florida,plus it was not far from the ellenton outlet mall where my wife and daughters wanted to really go!... more
Noted on the map that the Gamble Plantation Home was nearby so we stopped and found the exhibits interesting and the tour very wortwhile. The gentleman who gives the tour of the home is very well informed and provides an entertaining hour chock full of history and anecdotes. more
