I enjoyed the area around the Pier. The beach has great sand and there are numerous restaurants in the area should you feel hungry. A great place for people watching as well as chilling watching the ships parade by in front of you.

I love that you can grab a drink and walk the beach with it. The shops and restaurants are great. I wish there were fresh seafood places right on the beach, but I guess Ft Lauderdale is more of a party area - which is why there are plenty of bars!! Great vacation spot.

The beach is very narrow and close to the busy road. It's nice and clean though, and its right across the street from all the big resorts.

Great beach with easy access, lots of good restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Especially great during the Winter months just before sundown when you have the beach all to yourself.

Very nice wide beach area and the beautiful waters of the Atlantic off of South Florida. Biggest problem is parking. Good luck finding a space.
