I suspect there's no money laying around to fix this place up but really, charging nearly $20 a head to get in is incredibly unfair. The lower aquariums smelled so bad I had to get out and I'm not someone who is bothered at zoos or anywhere else. I think the gulfarium is dated and in DIRE need of repair.... more
If your family wants to enjoy a smaller friendly park this is the place. They are privately owned so it still has that small family feeling. We spent the day relaxed without the crushing crowds you get at larger parks and the animal are close so you really get a good look. The kids loved the sea lion show the... more
I hate to be a downer, but you leave the gulfarium feeling a little sorry for the animals. I'm not normally like that at zoos, but I've seen lots of animal parks, zoos and aquariums that had cleaner facilities. It's not horrible, but next year we'll go to the Air force museum or the indian mound museum or something else... more
I took a group of high school seniors, who were on their senior trip from Illinois, and they are still talking about it! They were thrilled to get their pictures back of the sea animals performing and many would like to go again. As a sponsor, I found that the employees were more than willing to work with me in... more
This past week my family and I paid a visit to the gulfarium and over all had a good time. I was a little disappointed with the access setup to the shows. I volunteer for a non profit organization and called to see if the Gulfarium could give me a discount to bring 8 retarded citizens on a friday. They were only willing to give me a dollor off each person. These citizens have the mentality of children why not let them in for 10.00. They have no money or means to make... more
Me and my Fiancee went on 06/25/06 and we really enjoyed it,it was the best one we have been to. The one in Panana City Florida wasnt as nearly as good as this one in Ft walton Beach. We would definately go back to this gulfarium and i would definately tell all my friends to come here more
Our family (children ages 13, 12, and 7) visited the Gulfarium in May 2006 and found everything to be in working order! We had spent the day before at Big Kahuna's waterpark and needed a break from the sun. This was the perfect place! I would strongly recommend arriving when we did - 12 noon. We were able to see... more
My husband and I went here on our honeymoon in Sept of 2005. We had such a great time. The shows were great and the staff was sooo friendly. The price was cheap and affordable but well worth more. We were down there when school had already started back so it was nice b/c it wasn't as crowded. We went... more
