To me, the Butterfly Rainforest is a destination in itself (but the rest of the Museum of Natural History has permanent and recurring exhibits of interest, too). Although I am a Gainesville resident I have always been impressed by the Natural History Museum. It has a wonderful family atmosphere with activities and exhibits that interest all ages. They have recently added a butterfly garden that is outstanding.
