We (two adults who enjoy nature) enjoyed our time at the nature center. We telephoned ahead and thus knew that there would be no pontoon boat ride. We were told the captain had retired recently. We checked out the Anne Kolbe Nature Center on a Tuesday morning in late June and glad we did. Had the whole place to ourselves. Lots of crabs among the Mangrove trees, even ones that climb trees.
