Its huge! Get your nitrox card or use 120's. You'll want as much bottom time as possible!

My son and I dove the Spiegel Grove twice during our Advanced Open Water Certification. It was the first wreck that we dove that was intact. We enjoyed exploring the different rooms of the ship and the huge barracuda's and Goliath grouper swimming just off the wreck.

A lot of sea life. Takes many dives to see it all. Dove with Horizon Divers. Great experience. Definitely recommend to advanced divers.

My favorite deep wreck dive. I have been diving on this wreck many times and still am amazed. You can dive this wreck many times before you can see it all. Love to take pictures of the American flag and all the fish that have made this wreck their home.

I served as an embark Marine aboard "The Grove" for 9 months, made 3 amphibious landings and returned to the ship for the trip across the atlantic in 100 foot seas skirting a hurricane! This ship was my home and will always be special place. As I dive down memory lane my mind takes me on a tour of the... More

I'm not a fan of wreck dives but everybody talked about the Spiegel that I felt the need to see it. It was a excelent surprise, wonderful surprise. We went to the stern, I was impressed with the size of the cargo compartiment. I felt like I was flying in a Space movie. The 'plantation' of 'hands alike corals on... More

This wreck is huge! It is an advanced dive, but the sights are great. It takes numerous dives to see the whole thing.

Haven't dove it? Gotta dive it! Dove it? Dive it again!! Lots of passages accessible with an open water cert and tons with a tech cert and reel. Find Snoopy, the kitchen, the locker room, and basketball court...as well as a little trinket that you can move if you find it.
