Walking into Captain Tony's, we were surprised and delighted at the insanity on the walls. Business cards have been stapled to the walls one after the other over many, many decades; women have hung bras from the ceiling, an infinite number of license plates are posted...but even better: The drinks, the staff and the LIVE MUSIC that plays at all... more

Lots of fun. We ended up here on our first night in town. Good live band. Classy joint... the beer was served in cans. Looks like a jail cell inside, but it works! Added entertainment: try to throw a coin in the fish's mouth at the entrance. more

In any other town, I would consider a place like Capt. Tony's Saloon a dingy heap to be avoided. But for some reason, in Key West, it just WORKS. Capt. Yes indeed, there are thousands of business cards and a whole lot of bras on the ceiling. Drink special, Pirate’s Punch, was a good value—tasty and a good pour. It’s pretty dark in the bar even though it is open air in front. more

Captain Tony's is a must see.... The place definitely has character! Wonderful piece of history with the tree and gravestone , the skeleton behind the bar, the multitudes of bras and business cards that adorn walls, ceilings, everywhere! The bartenders are great, local musicians keep the place lively with great tunes, and you might even meet Captain Tony himself. more

The Captains Punch should not be missed. Come prepared to leave your own memories on the wall, ceiling, etc. We hit this place everyday/night. You will find a tree alive and growing through the roof, a tombstone and more. I hope I have peaked your interest! more
