Capt. Tony's has always been a good reliable place to knock back a fewon the endless pub crawl from Mallory Squareup Duval. And as I remember it-- which is hard-- they usually had a single guy with a guitar that was always great. But last time I was there on 4/14, there was a band that really rocked the house....

It was a cool spot to visit and hang for a bit. The service was good and the drinks were normal priced.

you feel the history, you can hear the stories, I went to Capt. Tony's in honor of my parents and completely saw why they fell in love with this place!!!

Captain Tony's is just a friendly, dumpy, local bar. I don't think they wash it -- they probably just hose it out once a week. It's seriously a bit of a dive. :-)
But it's legendary for Buffett fans -- and, if anything, it's authentic. (I like this much better than the garish Margaritaville tourist traps!)

We've been to Key West at least 10 times, and this is almost always our first stop for a drink. Have to try the Pirates Punch, and take a few minutes to let some of the history of this old place sink in. The hanging tree...the haunting...and the legacy of Captain Tony. This is a great place for a couple...

been going to KW and Tony's since the '80's......hard to recommend Tony's these days...you'll find a similar atmosphere and better drinks at at Green Parrot...or for true old Key West go to Schooners...Tony's seems to be morphing into a sleazy caricature of itself....

drinks r cheap but not that strong..no cover before 9. hot strippers, a young crowd 21-35 most other places are all older.
