This was one of the highlights of Key West. I just loved all the dark wood and furniture contrasting the whimsical pictures and lace cat curtains at the windows. Excellent guided tour of the house and gardens, along with the story of the cats. As someone else noted, the house is not air conditioned, so it is best to go early in the morning before it heats up. The tour guide was really boring although Hemingway himself appeared to be a complex man. It was hot, they allowed too many people to crowd together and it wasn't as thorough as I thought for such an expensive tour.

you can really get a feel for the man, but more importantly the chaos that was his life with 4 wives.

Enjoyed touring Hemingway's home and hearing history. Felt a little rushed to get in and out.

Interting from the history point of view but I find usd 13.- steep for an enterance fee

Beautiful house and garden, our guide was fantastic and a really genuine local character. Short walk from Duvall St. Arrive early (opens 9am) as it gets VERY busy!

Beautiful Home, Loved the Cats, Wonderful gift shop. Enjoyed some of the tidbits I heard from the guided tour though we didn't actually join the whole tour. Great place to visit.

Great tour! The tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The property is gorgeous!
