Don't know all of Hemingway's works... so can't say I'm a huge fan, but the tour was still pretty cool. The tour guide we had was extremely knowledgeable and afterwards had a new appreciation for Hemingway... not to mention that Hemingway was a staple of Key West...and about as many stories about Hemingway in Key West as there are bars!... This was one of the highlights of Key West. I just loved all the dark wood and furniture contrasting the whimsical pictures and lace cat curtains at the windows. And of course all those cats that don't even move a muscle when they are petted. See the outdoor pool, the beautiful yard and cat cemetery and all the Hemingway memorabilia... More

Excellent guided tour of the house and gardens, along with the story of the cats. As someone else noted, the house is not air conditioned, so it is best to go early in the morning before it heats up. The tour guide was really boring although Hemingway himself appeared to be a complex man. It was hot, they allowed too many people to crowd together and it wasn't as thorough as I thought for such an expensive tour.

Enjoyed touring Hemingway's home and hearing history. Felt a little rushed to get in and out.

Beautiful house and garden, our guide was fantastic and a really genuine local character. Short walk from Duvall St. Arrive early (opens 9am) as it gets VERY busy!

Beautiful Home, Loved the Cats, Wonderful gift shop. Enjoyed some of the tidbits I heard from the guided tour though we didn't actually join the whole tour. Great place to visit.
