We have been visiting KW for 13 years and have done this trip multiple times. It is our favorite KW adventure by FAR!!! And we are picky!!! Well worth the money. The company was great. On one of the trips we had a medical emergency, they were more then accommodating!!! more

I did some research looking into this business as I am planning a trip and wanted to book a flight. Reviewing their website and other local sources, this company unfortunately went out of business. more

If you're planning a trip to Dry Tortugas, seriously consider getting there with Seaplanes of Key West on the 8am flight. It'll cost you more than the ferry, but you'll have the island to yourself for about 2 hours - enough time to tour the fort, snorkel and laze on the beach. Dry Tortugas is a fascinating place . .... more

On November 6th, my family and I were suppose to take the 10 am flight but was told at 9:30 that there were mechanical issues and that we would have to take the 8 am flight on the 7th which was fine. At 3 pm we were called and were told that all flights were suspended for financial reasons. I... more

It is a great way to get to the Dry Tortugas in 40 minutes, well in advance or after the bigger mob coming with the 2.5h one way boat trip. For a 100 USD more, you get snorking equipment, a couple of drinks, and much quicker way to the island and a once-in-a-lifetime experience on a seaplane. Chuck the pilot... more

Wow what a fantastic trip. We took the morning trip since after reading other reviews we thought it would be nice to miss the ferry crowds. The flight was great. We saw two shipwrecks, dolphins, private islands, and turtles. When we got to the island there were the four of us that went out on the plane, and two people... more

I'm a Key West veteran who for years had resisted the trip to the Dry Tortugas...error! By all means go and see this magnificent fort, and do go by the seaplane! It is pretty expensive, but boy is it worth it! You get to take breathtaking pictures of the fort in the air and once you land, you can explore... more

We went out with the early-morning plane on July 6th 2008 and had a unique experience on Dry Tortugas, shared with a few campers and being one of the first persons on the small beach, we could see the tracks of small turtles. After around two hours on the Island we were picked up again, just after the ferry had... more

We took the first flight out to the island and I wouldn't recommend it any other way. The whole time we were snorkeling, there was a grand total of 3 people in the water. The water was a little cloudy that day, so it was a little disappointing in the snorkeling department, but the plane ride made up for it.... more

Dry Tortugas is a fascinating island, and the seaplane is an efficient way to get there, with beautiful views along the way. I want to warn people though that the pilot we flew with wasn't the nicest guy around -- when we said we needed a little more time to get ready, he threw a fit and berated us. It... more
