The boat, the crew, the sights, Fort Jefferson and its history and the snorkeling will be something I will always remember. Even though the sun was not shining, the underwater life was breathtaking! Saw two turtle nests and wish we could have stayed longer! This is a must see/do!

If you're looking to visit Fort Jefferson, the Yankee Freedom II is a good way to get there. The boat can hold 250, but they only take 150 per trip, so there's room to move about. Great trip 70 miles off shore. Good snorkeling, breakfast and lunch included. Little pricey but, hey, you're on vacation. Fort was very nice.
