Captain Jeff and Steph made our day fun. Lots of fish to sea at the coral reef. Good value for money, 25 dollars each including snorkelling gear.

I was initially put off by some of the negative reviews on TA but our friends had been out with Starfish last year and recommended that we book with them. We went out with Captain Jeff and First Mate Stephanie, who were welcoming to all of the 29 guests and very professional in their instructions and concerns about passenger safety.... More

There were several first-time snorkelers and one non-swimmer on our trip. The captain and mate were extremely personable and competent, explained everything very well beforehand and assisted the people with their gear. They helped us in and out of the water and watched to make sure everybody was allright during the snorkeling adventure. The boat was well-maintained and comfortable, and... More

I've been snorkeling many times and this was about a better than average experience. The Captain and the first mate were very friendly and helpful. You go about 6 miles off the coast and do swim in the Ocean. The lighthouse has some dangerous coral growing on it, so they won't let you out that far. The day we went... More

Let me start out by saying we are visiting Florida from Indiana. It is my husband and I and our 2 children, 9 and 7. I searched the web for a kid friendly snorkeling trip because I thought it would be a really neat experience. I found the starfish snorkeling website and thought it would be the perfect snorkeling trip... More

We were very distressed with the lack of compassion on this trip. We went out to the Sombrero Coral Reef. The trip out, 7 miles, was ok but there were waves. Once the boat stopped it was rocking and rolling and so was my stomach, even after taking meds for motion sickness. The waves were up to 4 ft and... More

We had a ton of fun on this snokel trip. It was a very last second idea for us to go on this snorkel trip to Sombrero Reef. We called about 10 minutes before departure to find out if they had room for us. They did and actually held the boat for a few minutes for us to get there.... More

Captain & Feather were awesome. We had a great time! The boat was safe and clean the staff was down to earth, knowledgeable and willing to take the time for the new folks that had not done it before. Had a great time & when we return to the keys we will go right back to Starfish Snorkeling!

My husband and I were traveling with a group of 7 other adults and 3 toddlers who were all visiting from Europe. We initially saw the advertisements for Sea Dog Charters and decided we wanted to stop in to inquire about a fishing charter. The jerk behind the counter at Sea Dog (we saw his true colors later...) suggested we... More

The staff was fantastic, safe and the boat and gear clean and well maintained. My wife and both daughters got sea sick over the side. The staff was right there to help as much as possible. The water a deep blue and the reef was nice with decent sea life. A "memorable" experience. :)
