As an RAF pilot I trained on the Texan / AT6 in Texas during WW2 at 1 British Flying Training School. For my 84th birthday my sons paid for half an hour at Warbirds Adventures. I flew with Sean Sweeney, hands on, and it was a wonderful experience after so long. I can heartily reccommend it. I couldn't fault the... more

If you are going here to fly, you might have a different story to tell. However, we just wanted to view the museum and I can tell you it was disappointing. Overview Like others I was a bit nervous about the thought of going up in 52 year old planes even though I am a private pilot. All the nerves were unfounded and were quickly replaced with one of the most exhilaratingly experiences of my life. My instructor, Chuck, knows his stuff. He has 1900 hours in the T-6, is a... more

Went for the photo's and... more

I flew in the WW2 fighter trainer at Warbird Adventures and had a blast. What an awesome experience! The pilots were friendly and helped me learn to fly the airplane. We did all kinds of maneuvers and went upside down a few times too. The view from above the clouds was breath-taking and I got to see the Florida landscape.... more
