We go here all the time. It is beautiful, quiet, and beautiful! Great horse trails (long and scenic), awesome off-road biking trails (not for the weak!). Great camping facilities (& fishing too!)

I met friends at their camp site -- the sites were spacious, well separated from eacher other, with good hook ups and plenty of room to set up a portable fenced area for the horses. We have visited this park on many occasions and have spend the night and weekends camping with the family.

noting fancy about this park but the trails are fantastic as they go over and around old mining sites. Mountain bikers LOVE this park. Many use the primitive camping facilities as well. Lot's of wildlife and equestrian trails as well.

The Trails at Alafia River State Park were constructed by volunteers from the Southwest Association of Mountain Bike Pedalers (SWAMP). I enjoyed every minute. Trails for beginners, advanced and expert riders. I also saw trails for hikers and horses, camping areas and more.
