Getting to the beach was a scene from Fear Factor. Absolutely abhorring. The beach on the other side of the lagoon is NOT WORTH THE ABUSE!

No knee deep more chest deep lagoon you have to cross to get to the beach. iT was an adventure even for my 11 years old son with Autism. Bring water and snacks. No shade. Beatifull walk through the mangroves to get to the beach, short. You can see hundred of mini crabs in the mangrove and one eagle on...

Pay $8 to park for the day and you are close to the facilities that this beach has to offer such as restrooms, food, playground and beach rentals, but all of this is on the lagoon, not the real beach. The true beach is a bit of a hike and not as nice as the south beach area. It does...

This beach worked out well for us but I do caution you to research it. To get to the actual gulf coast beach you need to hike though the lagoon and over a spit of land which might be an issue for some who don't like to squish through the water which can be shallow to deep (?3 ft) depending...

I had the most incredible time paddleboarding at Tigertail Beach last week. The guys in the beach hut were brilliant, I rented the board and got lunch at the cafe, which was also great. It was like being in paradise. see my pictures. Top experince, thanks guys.
Visiting Tigertail Beach is a must-see spot when in Naples or Marco Island. The beach is clean and convenient with the cafe and restrooms. You can rent cabanas, chairs, paddle boats, etc and the staff are all super friendly, especially Steve and Tony. The awesome surprise awaits you when you wade across the tidal pool to the absolute breathtaking beach....

We loved the beach! We walked thru the water to get to the beach and loved every minute of it! Don't miss this one when visiting Marco Island!
Great location, beautiful and the only public beach with all of the conveniences. Hard to top Marco Island's BEACH.
To get to the beach you have to walk threw a lagoon up to waste high water carrying all your beach stuff and kids. It's terrible. Things touch your feet and legs and grasses and weeds wrap around your legs. The nice beach of marco is closed off for Resident's only. When you visit this beach......it makes you wonder if...

Tigertail beach is great for young kids. Nice playground, facilities, a cafe, water toys, cabana rentals, the surf is quieter. But if you cross the lagoon, you get to Sand Dollar Bite beach and that is truly a hidden gem! No one told us where to cross the lagoon, so let me tell you - walk up to Tigertail, look...
