They should have to meet some qualifications to be called a sanctuary. Not so "eco" friendly or as concerned with the captive animals as I think they should be. We do not recommend the Swamp Buggy ride at Wooten's. At no point in the "ride" was a wet swamp! The staff misled customers into believing otherwise. A group of 4 of us went to this attraction during the late afternoon. Inside the waiting area there is a pond so you can feed fish, but watch out there is also alligators that swim up to eat the fish food. Nice opportunity to see alligators up close, and it breaks up your wait time to get on the... more
