For a small zoo, it really is fantastic! The giraffe exhibit is unbelievable! The giraffe come up to you and you can actually feed them a cracker. It's so awesome!! Our 2 and 3 year old loved all aspects of the zoo. The train ride is not worth $3 though. more

The Brevard Zoo has more the feel of a Nature Preserve, than it has that of a Zoo. Lovingly arranged and very family friendly it is pure fun to walk through. Our visit, at the end of the summer, was very pleasant because the zoo was empty, and we didn't have hordes of people. I'd hate to see it during the peak period, though, becuase it IS compact. Paws on Play. This site has doubled the value of this zoo. If you haven't been since it's incorporation, your missing out. We have a grandparent membership, which allows both of our grandkids and us to go as many times as we like during the year. What a value this is!
