There were two floors, one was all modern art and the other was an exhibit of Tamayo, an artist from Mexico. The modern art was average, as was the Jan Dibbets photography exhibit. When I was at this museum, there were two temporary exhibits, and the rest of the museum was closed because another temporary exhibit was being installed. I enjoyed the Lowe Art Museum in Coral Gables much more. However, since the Miami Art Museum has very few permanent pieces, how much you enjoy the museum will depend on what exhibits happen... more
