“Great visit...an urban oasis”

On our recent trip to Florida, my husband and I visited Oleta State Park. We rented bikes and kayaks for a very reasonable cost, biked and hung out on the beach. It was a great time, very picturesque and you can't beat the costs. It was a very relaxing place to spend 3 hours on our vacation! more

In Feb, my husband, 10 year old son and I had a few days and decided to go camping in Florida. Since I was not making reservations until about 1 month before I could find nothing in the Keys and ended up "settling" for Oleta River State Park. What a pleasant surprise!
