Our experience at Parrot Jungle exceeded our expectations. The park was well maintained; had many knowledgeable and patient staff. We had more close encounters with exotic animals than at most parks we have visited - feed and touch Macawaws-Parrots, Kangaroos, and monkeys. We saw rare white alligator and Liger (Lion-Tiger) Shows wera all good, offering close contact with birds, penguins,... More

This is a Miami must-see. You can have a lemur experience, hold a parrot, pet a goat, watch some cute animal shows and lots more. They have "la Playa beach during season so bring a swimsuit and towel. Big 'hippo slide' is a blast. Nice cafe to eat lunch, overlooking the flamingos. Very good gift shop will all kinds of... More

It's not as special as the original where tourist and locals would frequent. Now with the new location and prices it's solely a tourist attraction and field trip destination. It's fun to see the shows and get your photos taken with the birds...

Before the present day, Pinecrest Gardens park. It was Parrot Jungle and Gardens. It was beautiful, and icon of Miami. It still is beautiful, except the Parrots have moved ! They are now at Watson Island (heading towards the beaches) in a place called Jungle Island. The "old" location, is now Pinecrest Gardens, and still worth a visit. My neice... More

Kids would like on a cool day. Can be hot during summer season. Bring food or go out over the bridge for food and come back - the cafeteria is waaaaay to expensive and not quality, even up to Burger King standards!
